Army corps awards 2 drainage contracts

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has awarded two contracts totaling more than $42 million to create a new box culvert under the Napoleon Avenue neutral ground in New Orleans and widen the Murphy Canal in Jefferson Parish as part of an expansive drainage project in the metro area.
